This can be easily transformed into plant-based versions of all those dishes. It's the perfect, healthier replacement to fried chicken. Check out the recipes below!

(Vegan, Gluten-Free, Soy-Free)
(Makes ~8 patties)
Chickpea Patty
3 cups of cooked chickpeas
2 tbsps of arrowroot starch
1 tsp of poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp of garlic powder
1/2 tsp of onion powder
1 1/2 cups of gluten-free Italian breadcrumbs
In a food processor, blend together the chickpeas, arrowroot, and seasonings until it is a formed dough-like consistency. Roll the chickpea dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and flatten it with the palms of your had to form a patty. Press the patty into a bowl of the breadcrumbs, flipping the patty over to cover the entire thing with breadcrumbs.
Preheat the oven to a broil of 500F. Lay out the chickpea patties on a non-stick baking pan. Broil in the oven for 8 mins, then flip the patties over and broil for another 8 mins.
Use the chickpea patties in place of chicken in the following dishes:
Buffalo Chickpea Sandwich
Drizzle vegan buffalo sauce on top of the chickpea patty and top it with lettuce, red onion and tomatoes. Sandwich it between 2 pieces of gluten-free bread.
Chickpea Caesar Wrap
Drizzle vegan caesar dressing (recipe below) on top of the chickpea patty and slice it into strips. Place on a gluten-free wrap and add chopped romaine lettuce. Wrap it up and cut in half.
Vegan Caesar Dressing:
2 tbsps of tahini
3 tbsps of dijon mustard
2 tbsps of coconut aminos
1/2 lemon, squeezed
1 tbsp of water
1 tbsp of garlic powder
Pinch of red pepper flakes
Whisk all ingredients together.
Chickpea Parmesan
Top the chickpea patty with tomato sauce and vegan mozzarella cheese. Place back in the oven on 350F until the vegan cheese melts. Place over top of gluten free pasta and tomato sauce.
"Chick-Fil-A" Chickpea Sandwich
Drizzle this homemade vegan chick-fil-a sauce on top of the chickpea patty and top it with lettuce, red onion and tomatoes. Sandwich it between 2 pieces of gluten-free bread.
