Papaya and aloe combined calls for a serious gut and skin healing blend. Papaya is super high in beta-carotene, which will give your skin a nice glow if consumed regularly. Papaya also helps to soothe the digestive tract which can make it great for those dealing with any digestive issues such as IBS, bloating, acid reflux and more.

For this recipe, I blend together 1/2 of a large maradol papaya, 2 inch piece of aloe vera, 1 tsp of cinnamon and 1 tsp of vanilla bean powder.
If you’ve tried papaya before and didn’t care for it or it wasn’t sweet, it's probably because it wasn’t ripe! When a papaya is ripe if will have a mostly yellow color to it and have a slight give when pressing down on it.
