(Serves ~1-2)

Ingredients:
2 - 3 portobello mushrooms
Marinade:
2 tbsp of hemp seeds
1 tsp of orange zest & juice of 1 orange
1 garlic clove
1 tsp of dried oregano (or fresh)
1 tsp of dried parsley (or 1/4 cup fresh)
1/2 tsp of dried sage (or fresh)
1/2 tsp of dried rosemary (or fresh)
Pinch of cumin powder
3/4 cup of water
Blend together the marinade until smooth. Slice the portobello mushrooms into strips and let the strips marinate in a bowl with the marinade for 15-20 mins (for even better flavor - marinate overnight). Using tongs, place the marinated portobello strips on a large sauce pan and saute on medium heat for a 8-10 minutes, continuing to flip the strips on each side every few minutes until all the liquid has evaporated from the pan. Serve on top of a salad (you can even use the marinade as a dressing), in tacos, or alongside your favorite veggies and potatoes. These portobello steaks can go with a lot of different dishes!
